Egon Schiele

Egon Schiele was a prolific artist and leading figure of Austrian Expressionism. His works - known for their bold, graphic style, figural distortion, and unconventional depictions of beauty - exposed the depths of human psychology and sexuality, as well as the artist’s own damaged lifestyle. Schiele tragically died from influenza at only twenty-eight years old, but impressively drafted over three thousand illustrations during his brief career.
