A gallery presenting the majority of Johannes Vermeer’s works. Vermeer is today considered one of the masters of the ‘Dutch Golden Age’, alongside Rembrandt and Frans Hals. He began his career painting biblical and mythological scenes, while his later, more famous work focused on interior settings depicting scenes from daily life.
