The Tokyo National Museum is one of the oldest national museums in Japan, as well as one of the country’s largest. It was established in 1872 and has grown to encompass five buildings, including the Kuroda Memorial Hall, which is dedicated to the famous modern Japanese artist Kuroda Seiki. The museum features ancient Japanese art, Greco-Buddhist art, and works from other Asian countries.
