kHyal™ A/K/A MegaGlam
kHyal is an American artist. Her fine art and design have been exhibited in the American Visionary Art Museum, Pictoplasma–Berlin, la Gaîté Lyrique–Paris, Outsider Art Fair–New York, Metro Show–New York, Housatonic Art Museum, City Museum–Washington–DC, New Britain Museum of American Art, Intuit–Chicago, EGGO Arte–Buenos Aires, The Cooper Union, Miami Art Week, Aqua Art Miami, Satellite Art Show–Miami, Umbrella Arts–New York, Solange Guez Arte Contemporáneo–Buenos Aires, Henry Boxer Gallery–London, and Ricco/Maresca Gallery–New York.
A pioneer in digital expression, kHyal used personal computers, MIDI music, performance, and installation as a cutting-edge art form in the early 1980s. She was a member of the Yale Amiga Users Group, involved in Rhizome (now part of the New Museum) and Art & Science Collaborations Inc. (ASCI); and was a founding member of the Women’s Internet History Project.
