Carlos Federico Sáez

A gifted painter, Carlos Sáez showed a talent for art at the age of ten. Sáez continued to study painting under Uruguayan artist Juan Manuel Blanes; eventually Sáez gained a scholarship at the age of fourteen to pursue and study art in Italy. The young artist’s life took a turn when he fell ill during his return back home and passed away at the young age of 22.
