Jules Pascin was a Bulgarian artist who became one of the ‘emigres’ to the School of Paris. His loosely rendered portraits and figures were popular at the time, and Pascin lived an extravagant lifestyle in the same social circle as Ernest Hemingway, who dedicated a chapter of “A Moveable Feast” to him.
