Henri Fantin-Latour was a 19th century French artist known for his realistic portraits and floral still life paintings. Fantin-Latour’s most recognizable works are his group portraits of fellow Parisian contemporary artists such as Édouard Manet and Eugène Delacroix. His precise and detailed technique made his paintings well regarded in his time, and still appreciated to this day.
